These are the rules and regulations of DDA. Please read and understand each of the underlying.
1 ) Be ACTIVE in the academy. That means constantly participate in Darkworld Duel Academy's Events, Tournaments, and many other events to be held. Any member who is present at least 2-3 days a week, participates in academy/dorm events/postings, and any other events, is considered to be an active member. If you are only online once every two weeks, post something here or there, you are not an active member.
2 ) DO NOT Spam The following is considered as Spam:
- Posting messages with one word (EX: WTF?, ok, etc)
- Posting things that have nothing to do with the topic.
- Double Posting without any need to do so.
- Necro Posting (Necro Posting is reviving a topic that has died for more than 1 month unless it is yours and you're bumping it with something useful)
- Joining the academy if you do not intend to be an active member
- Posting adult (18+) content (e.g. anything of a sexual nature and/or references).
3 ) SHOW RESPECT to Staff AND Members If you have a complaint, send it in PM to an Admin (https://9000.forumotion.com/t8-dda-staff-list#8 )
4 ) BACK SEAT MODDING IS BANNED. If you want to act like a moderator find another place for it. If you want to report something, do so in a PM to Staff.
5 ) DDA is NOT responsible for any mess outside of the forum. If someone insults you in chat, don't contact us. If it is done in the forum, we will take care of it.
6 ) NO advertising! Advertising can only be done in the section meant for it (your room & signature). If you advertise via PM, you will be banned for 3 days.
7 ) Signature Rules :
- Signature's maximum size is 900x200
- ONLY 2 signatures are allowed out side of a spoiler, if you have a spoiler all signatures must be inside of it (max 5)
- You may advertise through your signature (It must be appropriate. If we see anything offending, you will be either warned or banned).
8 ) No double accounts! This will result in a complete IP ban from the forum. This includes using proxies.
9 ) UWP - Under World Points. These points are the Academy Currency. With it, you can purchase deck lists from our Deck Shops, artwork from our GFX Shops, and buy-ins to Wager Tournaments. If you wish to hold a Wager Tournament, you will be required to maintain the tournament, not an Admin. More information on this can be found in the Tournament area.
10 ) Copyright Law You cannot use other person(s) work as your own unless you get permission from them. Examples would be posting decklists of other people's as your own without giving credit to them, using signatures that another person made as your own without permission, etc.
Breaking the rules we will result in a Offense:
*Each offense will be noted on your account*
1st Offense: A verbal/written warning will be issued
2nd Offense: A 24-hour ban will be placed on your account
3rd Offense: A 3-day ban will be placed on your account and half of your UWP will be deducted
4th Offense: A 7-day ban will be placed on your account and you will not able to participate in the next tourney and all of your UWP will be deducted
5th Offense: IP BAN
N.B. If there is serious breach of the rules, e.g. hacking, etc we may IP Ban you (or whatever other punishment deemed necessary) at once.
Note:
Rule breaking violations will go on each members record for a month. After a month all charges will be cleared unless said member is serving his/her punishment. In these cases, after the punishment (Unless a 5th Offense offender), all charges will be relieved.
